Tapp’s Arts Center is proud to celebrate National Youth Art Month for the third year in a row. As part of Tapp’s ongoing support of arts education we will be displaying youth art in our entire Main Gallery for the month of March. TAC’s celebration of Youth Art Month will kick off on Thursday, March 7th during the First Thursdays on Main Gallery Crawl from 5:30 until 9:00. This is mostly geared towards adults with Wine and Beer being served at several venues. While First Thursday’s is not necessarily geared for children we do try to maintain a family friendly setting at Tapp’s. An opening geared specifically for the youth artists, teachers, and parents will be held on March 9th. The day will start with our weekly youth figure drawing class called Figurines (all supplies and a model are provided for only $10). The acclaimed rock band for kids, “Lunch Money”, will play at 2pm and be the headliner for the day. We are still planning other events and acts for the day.
