There are worlds in our minds. Some worlds are best left … unexplored. AZRAEL is the weird-as-Hell sequel to THE THETA GIRL. Both movies were made in Columbia, South Carolina by rank amateurs with more passion than sense.
In the aftermath of a drug-fueled killing spree in a small South Carolina town, budding gangster Ros ventures home to secure her criminal legacy. Chaos ensues when Ros collides with Millis, a crime-scene cleanup tech with a dark secret.
AZRAEL is a hallucinatory exercise in sex, violence and sacrilege. Oh, and the music — by artists including Columbia’s own Preach Jacobs, Gauge Santiago and Mario McClean — is amazing.
