Friends of Tapp’s

Real World Artisans, LLC, established in January of 2008, is the owner of the Tapp’s Arts Center which will act as a conduit for creativity both on a personal and city-wide level. It will bring together those with creative needs such as space to work or teach with those seeking creative solutions for their homes, businesses, schools and lives. This centralized resource for creativity in Columbia will allow the creative class to come together with art seekers and students; the public to engage themselves in the arts; and friends the chance to observe and express.

The intention of the owner is to develop, over time, a multi-faceted center with the ability to fulfill the needs of artists working in a variety of media, a full creative educational program, as well as retail or commissioned needs of art lovers in our community.

Real World Artisans, LLC manages and operates the facility in which other businesses, organizations or workshops may exist in partnership. The owner will seek out these partnerships to broaden the reach of the Tapp’s Arts Center and expand creative opportunities available to artists and the community.
